After her persistant cough, we decided to bring her to see a chinese sinseh. We originally wanted to goto the one at Marine Parade but his mom asked us to goto one at Geylang Lor 26 instead. Apparently she has bought Seng to that sinseh when he was young.
So after Valerie is off school, we hop on a cab and went straight to Geylang Lor 26. To our horror, it was CLOSED for lunch till 2pm! HB was hopping mad coz his mom kept saying the man (who is a better sinseh than this wife) sees patients until 3pm! We reached there at 1pm and we'll have to wait 1 hour for the clinic to open. Worse of all, we are not sure whether it will be the guy or his wife who is taking the afternoon session.
As we do not want to risk, we took a cab back to Marine Parade.
When we were there, we thought the Q was alright.. but even so, we waited almost 2 hours from start to end. Throught this time, HB was busy entertaining Valerie and we worried abt her nap time. Thank god this girl was very guai and patient.
When it was our turn, the sinseh merely asked Valerie to put her hands on the 'pillow'. We didn't say anything and he was able to tell us that Val has sensitive airway and is coughing. He prescribed us some herbs for her cough and some other herbs to be made into soup to help her immune system.
HB seeing that he is quite accurate, also asked the sinseh to prescribe him some herbs.
Overall bill is quite cheap (compared to seeing a PD). S$40, including herbs, for 2 person.
Now only hope that the herbs can really help Valerie & HB lor.

3rd visit to Dr Heng
It's my 3rd (official) visit to Dr Heng. BB#2 is roughly 12wks & 5 days today. Quite anxious & excited to see how is the progress. Over the weeks, the MS has eased of but it's not completely over yet. If I'm hungry, walk upstairs if I'm still full, ate the wrong type of food, it can still send me puking in the toilet.
When Dr Heng did the scan, both of us were very excited. BB was very active, tossing & turning, waving hands & legs. Dr Heng measure him to be 6.8cm long now and because our last visit was 5 weeks ago, the growth seemed incredible. He was like a little peanut 5 weeks ago and very much like a little baby now.
Dr Heng measured his neck (she said it's borderline case), his tummy as well as his head. And also the gentials :p She said it's a boy and she pointed to me this little "I" we see inbetween the legs.
I guess at 12 weeks plus it's still too early to get a confirmation on the sex of the baby. I'm indifferent to having a boy or girl. I just want a healthy happy baby.
Next visit is 4 weeks away (27/3) and I'll be doing my blood tests. Hopefully everything will turn out ok.

February Calendar
This calendar is soo late. I wanted to print and put in office. But being so restless lately.. I just didnt have the time to.. but at least 'showcase' lah :p

Haven't been posting lately... Alot of things happening (or so it seemed to me).. just no energy to blog. MS has kicked in full force over the weeks. Unable to eat, drink much. Some colleagues said I lost weight (which I had). But over the past 1 week or so things are improving. I can eat slightly better eventhough I still end up throwing some of them out. But overall it's still better now.
Thru'out the day I'll still nauseaous but it'll be worse when I'm hungry. I haven't felt hunger for ages. And the vomiting is now the warning sign and I need food! hee
Today I'm into my 10wks 6 days. Tmrw will be the start of week 11.. two more weeks and 1st trimester will be over. I'll only be seeing Dr Heng on 28 Feb.. 5 weeks from last visit... Looking forward to that day coz I can see BB2 again.

Chinese New Year
Back-date this post a little :p
Before the start of CNY, I've already told DH that we'll limit the visiting to the bare essentials. I know he enjoyed visiting and am grateful he readily agreed. So this year we only went to my mom's & his aunt's place. Thankfully his parents being the 'eldest' now, his cousins & uncle will come visiting. In the past, we'll goto their house also, but not this year.
On the 1st day of CNY, his whole extended family came to visit. At the same time, my mom & sister came also. U can see the SHOCK on their face when they saw so many pple! Hee.. we come from a small family, seeing such a huge crowd is just not a norm. :p
On the 2nd day of CNY, we went out for our customary dim sum with my family. Timothy is sooo cute! That day my relatives get to know about my pregnancy. Mom told me not to say.. but what are you going to do if you cousins wish you "Zhao Sheng Gui Zi".. act blur? I can't lor.. so I told them "On the way" :p
On the 3rd day of CNY, I finally got to see Ed junior! He is a tiny baby but he is so adorable! So smiley! Although he is already 7mths old, he weighs less than 7kgs. Valerie was already like over 7kgs when she is 4 mths old! :p But healthy baby is the most important. Keeran is just so cute! Hope to be able to see him again before Ed & Serene flies back to Idaho.
On the 4th day of CNY, I'm exhausted. I didn't goto CKH's house coz I'm just too tired. But we went to Ah Yee's house for lunch instead. Ryan is also a cute boi but not as 'friendly' as Keeran.
So.. that sums up my 2008 CNY! One thing I forgot to do during this CNY is take TONS OF PICTURES!
